Our 1st year at CODA was nothing short of extraordinary. I’m so proud of all Peyton has accomplished this past year and I can’t wait to see what this coming year brings. So blessed to have found this place and these amazing instructors

Before CODA, my daughters Lorelai and Autumn danced for many years at another studio. While the environment there was Christ-filled and positive, the technique taught was lacking. When my eldest said she inspired to dance professionally, I knew in my heart that she must train elsewhere to develop the skills she needed. As I was searching, CODA was mentioned in our homeschool co-op, and I knew from the start this was going to be the best fit for our family. After meeting Brian and Cari-Lenn and touring CODA’s facilities, I truly felt this was going to become our new dance home. My daughters felt the same way. I know in my heart that God has big plans for this place and will grow it in the appropriate time. Both of my daughters have been growing as dancers week-to-week and are truly thriving. My oldest, Lorelai, had taken dance for 5 years before coming here. Although she had an intellectual knowledge of classical ballet, she was not given proper technique training. Both Brian and Cari-Lenn recognized immediately Lorelai’s areas of strength and areas of weakness and began a great work in her. In a matter of months her skills have increase dramatically. But not only that, her self-confidence is soaring. Brian and Cari made her feel that she was special from day one. They made it known that they believe in her, so every class Lorelai walks in with such confidence and is always ready to put in the work. She has also gained a lot of muscle strength needed for dancing. I am always pleased at the end of each week to see her progressing so nicely. My youngest, Autumn, also took 3 years of dance and one year of gymnastics and acrobatics. However, she, too lacked the skill and discipline until she started at CODA in their first-steps program. Every Tuesday and Saturday she looks forward to coming here. She has so much fun in each class and doesn’t even realize that all the fun games Brian picks out for the students is actually teaching them necessary dance skills. Autumn is a neurodivergent child and often struggles with frustration, but Brian always finds a way to bring calm back into her. He is so kind and patient with her and has built up trust with her. Autumn absolutely adores him as a teacher. She has never once wanted to practice dance at home until she started here. I have truly seen a sparkle in their eye and their dancing skills continue to grow. Most importantly, Brian and Cari-Lenn have provided a safe place to dance. They have provided an uplifting, positive, Christ-centered environment that meets the emotional and spiritual needs of my daughters. And not only them, but they both have shown a true friendship to me as well. It is so refreshing to have a dance studio that not only provides proper training of artistry and technique, but provides a place for spiritual retreat. I pray that God will lead more people to this studio so that they, too, can experience what my family has.
